OVERVIEW With five years of work and an estimated cumulative total of over 14,000 man hours of design, development and testing in addition to collaborative assistance from world renown institutions such as the United States Army, Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Sofcoast has perfected its ASAP XP® core technologies and proprietary design approaches that blend world class high performance tethered aerial coverage devices with easy to use, consumer friendly design philosophies. Sofcoast is bringing ASAP XP® aerial coverage technology to the world in the form of it's first product called the Manportable High Performance Tethered Aerostatic Hybrid Air System, commercially trademarked as MAKO®.
MAKO® offers a simple, stable and useful aerial platform for multi-hour live aerial HD Video broadcasting or a multi-day manportable communications tower that provides 20 plus mile voice or data communications coverage.
