Today, Sofcoast successfully delivered beta unit 001 to Murray State University. Sharing a short video clip (below) of todays events which consisted of customer training and acceptance testing.
We flew in the Murray State University Football Stadium parking lot. Weather was light and steady rain, 33 F. Winds were 7-10 mph. (Typical cold and wet winter day in Kentucky.)Now in private beta, Sofcoast is developing a new product category: Affordable Stationary Aerial Platforms.
ASAP XP is a technology component of Sofcoast's FIRST Kit which enables front-line users to rapidly elevate a wide range of equipment for uses such as surveillance, continuity of operations, chemical detection, infrastructure monitoring and other applications for civil, military, government and commercial users.
As a FIRST Kit component, ASAP XP is a patent pending, tethered, lighter than air, inflatable wing that is designed to serve as a platform that can be deployed by two persons to deploy technologies that collect and connect critical users to critical data where and when it matters most.
Sofcoast has invited select private beta customers, beginning with Murray State University, to participate in ASAP XP early user use and evaluations of the system.
