Starting Points....Three2Link

I've had multiple requests to publish video of some sort of three2link prototype demo.  I finally sat down last night and took the first step.  You'll find two video's put together that walk through Three2Link.  Part One is the client (in the hand); Part Two is the Gateway (Web App).

Also, I found it to be very interesting in actually figuring out how put a rig together to capture video from the screen of my mobile phone (blackberry bold 9000).  I'm sure many will ask "why don't you just use some software app?" I've attempted to use umpteen different types of software that ostensibly will do screen capture on the mobile device....none worked very well on the device driving the app... so I had to do it old school....with rubber bands and bubble gum.... The quality should get better, as we either get better at making them, or hire an expert to do it for us.

 

Overview

Sofcoast's Three2Link Software Suite is a software system that enables efficient handheld data organization, GeoSocial search, data management, aggregation and structured data access to widely dispersed and diffused unstructured data. 

Data comes in from handheld devices, is processed on the Three2Link servers, and is distributed to a variety of formats including web browsers, calendars, GIS systems such as Google Earth, and SMS technologies and systems, podcasts, and rich media delivery.

 

 The Three2Link data management perspective is 'frame' and ʻfeedʼ oriented, and the tools are oriented towards navigating live data sets. An example of the benefits of 'feed' and 'frame' based organization is the feed-based search engine, which automatically updates the query with new data. The feed-based search makes it easy to monitor particular areas of interest, bookmarking a particular query result will give the latest results for the query.  A query can be used which selects by user, tags, time-frame, and geospatial range, and automatically generates a variety of data outputs in addition to the HTML on the website.
